I saw the move "Bad Rap" and I must say that I loved it. It was very inspirational. While I myself am not an Asian rapper I can still relate to a lot of the things they went through and talked about. It also gave me an understanding from another perspective when they had industry professionals listen to their music and express why it was "good" or "bad" to them. I love Lyricks' and Dumbfoundead's music, so hearing what they had to say about them put things in a perspective wh
"I agree with you. While I did hate the beginning of DBS and some of the later episodes and I prefer SS4 I do enjoy watching this. I don't even notice the moments when the drawings look bad until someone complains about it in the comments then I go back to see a fraction of a second where the drawing was bad. I mean out of an entire show with good animation people will complain if there is 1 second of bad animation. Unfortunately as an artist I will say that you constantly ge

I have been going through a lot of changes lately. I am not only growing in confidence, but I have begun to let go of the shackles I put on myself due to the things I was taught growing up. I don't believe in everything I was taught. It isn't that it is wrong...as a matter of fact I believe it makes great people, but it isn't me... I have been having many dreams that I am beginning to understand as I grown. The internal angel & demon thing fits me, but it is different from th
You know what I don't get....people get so upset about the “state of Hip Hop.” Yet when you tell them the people of their concerns aren’t Hip Hop, because they don’t represent the ideals behind Hip Hop they are quick to jump at you trying to defend the very thing they complain about. Reality is that people nowadays are passive bitches that don’t want to stand up for anything. If you throw on a red or blue rag & go to Cali claiming you gangbang do they say, “Oh snap homie you
Thank you wonderful friend for giving me this insight. I wanted to share with you what she told me along with some thoughts I have. Everything that someone likes will be hated by another. Everyone has their own opinions. As an artist you can't let the opinions of others get to you. This is your art and your heart. Express it the way you see fit. Even if it seems like the whole world is against you. The point of art is not to make everyone love you, but to express yourself in
People say "the worst they can say is no", but that in itself is horrible. It makes you feel really bad. Matter of fact they recommend avoiding the word no when disciplining your children, because it can hurt their self-confidence. I know you aren't supposed to let things get to you or care what people, but as an artist when it comes to your art it hurts when someone says no or that is garbage or anything like that. You don't want anyone to say anything bad about something yo
why is it that the majority of so called conscious black people always try to force you to be a certain way. You can't be all pro black saying you love black people, but then turn around & judge them just because they don't do what you do. I can understand selling drugs, killing people & things like that, but the whole "he/she is trying to be white" thing is ridiculous. I honestly feel like it is racist. I should be able to wear whatever clothes I want to wear. If I don’t wan
Rap music didn't go downhill after Tupac & Biggie died because no one will ever be as good as them or anything like that. It went downhill, because they became the "Black Messiah" that the FBI wants destroyed. They became powerful & were a threat to the system. They had the power to make people move. They could have made a change in this world. I mean Biggie would have made a negative change, but from what I understand when he got killed he was trying to go from negative musi
A lot of people don't have enough respect for the work of underground artists.
