​William “Nephibis” Young was born in Edmondson Village of Baltimore, MD on Oct. 9, 1988. He grew up as an outcast that got picked on every day and sometimes face racism. Eventually he chose to fight back and became involved with a lot of trouble until a member of the Crips educated him on the history of gangs, The Black Panthers and Malcolm X. This led to him studying the origins of Hip Hop and aiming to make a positive impact through music. Nephibis’ aim has been to make music for the outcasts of the world and give them the strength to continue being themselves and move forward no matter what they face.
